Overview

Waypoint is an exquisite luxury 4-bedroom villa, located at the North end of Columbus Beach on three acres, providing a high level of privacy and private access to the most beautiful sandy beach on Ambergris Cay. The house sits 35 feet above sea level on a hill surrounded by palm trees and luscious vegetation and is not visible from the road. An impressive lit sandstone 100-meter driveway curves up from the road to an arrival court which features two covered spaces for golf carts. The spectacular beach is accessed by a stone walk from the house. From the south/east terrace of the house, which has the ocean-facing infinity swimming pool, the sunrise and day-time views of the ocean and the beach are stunning. On the west side of the house, which is sheltered from the easterly trade winds, a large outdoor living and covered dining space offers beautiful sunset views and complete privacy for lunch, dinner, and entertaining.

‍Waypoint is located on Columbus Beach and the tennis courts are just a 5-minute walk away. The Marina is 2 minutes by golf cart, Calico Jack restaurant and the Welcome Center is a 5-minute golf cart ride, while the Fitness Club and the Club House are about 10 minutes by golf cart.

Ambergris Cay has been a private island since its purchase in 1811 and saw little development until the late 20th century when modern infrastructure was put into place, catering to an upscale clientele looking for privacy and rustic Caribbean charm.  The island has one of the longest private runways in the Caribbean at 5,700 ft. in length, which allows guests to fly in via private plane and clear customs and immigration directly on the Cay. For those arriving in Providenciales on commercial airlines, Ambergris Cay provides complimentary roundtrip flights from PLS to the Cay (20 minutes). Reverse osmosis water purification and independent electrical generation systems allow the island to live “off the grid” yet guests can stay connected with phone and cell phone service as well as high-speed internet access. The island is committed to sustainable development and the preservation of a natural Caribbean environment.

Our decision to offer all-inclusive dining is based on our promise to deliver a relaxing holiday and the ability to indulge without the hassle of signing a bill after every order. Enjoy à la carte meals featuring the finest local and seasonal ingredients, tailored to your taste and dietary preferences, and cocktails crafted with premium spirits. Menus are dynamic, changing often and always with the option to design any offering "your way". As well, Chef Carmen and her team welcome the opportunity to prepare off-menu requests, provided we have the ingredients readily available or a note about your preferences, prior to arrival.

Restaurants~

• Calico: Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner serving Caribbean and international cuisine, gourmet à la carte fine dining, and theme nights with seasonal specials such as seafood paella and grilled lobster. Snacks and treats are available 24 hours between meals at the snack station. Calico is a short walk along the waterfront boardwalk from the 1-Bedroom Beach Front Suites located on nearby Monck Beach.
• The Club House: Serves up a menu of grilled light fare, burgers, paninis, salads, and fun food for all ages. The Club House is located about 5 minutes away from Monck Beach and the Calico Jack Pavilion by golf cart and offers a beach club with beach chairs and umbrellas, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and an activity center with pool and ping-pong tables, video games and board games.

Complimentary Air Transfers 

International flights to Turks and Caicos arrive at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS) on the main island of Providenciales, called “Provo” for short. Ambergris Cay guests are met at the PLS Airport for the 20-minute private air transfer flight to the private Ambergris Cay airport which has the longest private runway in the Caribbean (5,700 ft. in length, suitable for even private jets). Guests enjoy complimentary roundtrip private air transfers from PLS to Ambergris Cay.
